Great result tonight as our U16 Girls took the points in their first away game of the season. Scoreline didn't reflect the match which was based on a hardworking defensive performance from Tulla which limited Corofin to just the one shot. Ava, Maria, Niamh & Siomha performed heroics in defence and created the platform for the team to go on and win the match. We led 1-0 at half time from a smartly taken Katie goal and absorbed serious Corofin pressure. Second half was down the hill and Katie added three more as Corofin pushed on before before Ava G. pounced to round off the scoring. Great performance tonight and coaches are very proud of them! They all deserve their Easter eggs!!
