About Tulla United

Tulla United is a soccer club located in East Clare, founded over 50 years ago, with a proud history of serving the village of Tulla and nearby villages/parishes of Bodyke, Broadford, Clooney, Crusheen, Feakle, Kilkishen, Killenena, O'Callaghan Mills and Quin. The club was founded in 1970 and there have been a lot of changes at the club since then, most notably in the last decade with the development of the excellent facilities at The Cragg and growing the number of qualified coaches to over 40, which has allowed the club to cater for all ages from U7 boys and girls through to adults.

Currently the club has over 250 members, fields 2 Junior Teams in the Clare District Soccer League (C.D.S.L.), fields a number of schoolboy/girls teams in the Clare Schoolboy/girl Soccer League (C.S.S.L) and actively encourages non-competitive involvement for ages 5 to 10. The club's facilities at The Cragg consists of a main floodlit pitch, a second pitch, club house with 4 dressing rooms, which were opened in May 2008. July 2011 saw the opening of the ASTRO/All Weather Pitch, which is a joint venture between the club and the Tulla Community Council. In January 2011 the club became the first Clare soccer club to receive an AVIVA FAI Club of the Month award in recognition of the marvelleous achievements by the club.
