Tulla Utd U17B vs Shannon Town U17:

The first half of the match was balanced throughout the first half with good opportunities for both teams. Tulla came close to scoring with shots from Tyler, Ciaran, and Mattie but failed to capitalize on the efforts. Good defensive effort over all with Luke in goal, Eimhin and Conor M., Liam and Evan with some attempts to counter involving Colin, Emmet, Ciaran and Tyler supported by Donal and Mattie but couldn't find a way to score.

In the second half, Shannon town scored first by capitalizing on a failed attempt to clear the ball from the penalty area following a corner kick. Tulla United then had 15 minutes of good play where managed to create at least 4 good opportunities to score with shots from Oisin, Ronan, Ciaran and Ryan until Mattie with a strong shot under the crossbar from just outside the area, surprised the Shannon town goalkeeper and scored a very nice goal . Tulla had another couple of good chances right away with a dangerous croos from Ronan that crossed the entire penalty area and with a good shot from Ciaran again saved well by the Shannon town GK. with only 15 minutes to go Shannon town increased its attacks and created a few chances either cleared by the Tulla defense or saved well by the exceptional effort of Luke in goal. with the help from Hugo and Daniel. When the match seemed to be coming to an end, Tulla with a precise pass managed to create the perfect counterattack and found Ryan who clinically beat the Shannon Town GK 1v1 just before the referee blew his whistle to end the game. Tulla Utd managed to use all the subs and stayed in the game until the last chance with a brave defensive effort. A big well done to all involved.
