Tulla United, as a FAI Clubmark One Star club and designated player development centre is proud to see our players take the next step and represent Clare team in inter-county competitions. The next few days sees the two biggest underage tournaments in Ireland kick off. First up, this week we have the Gaynor cup followed the week after by the Kennedy Cup with both competitions held in UL. Our 2024 Gaynor Cup representatives are Isabel McMahon and Amy Collins and our 2024 Kennedy Cup representatives are Sean McGee and Tiarnan Collins. Congratulations to them, their Tulla coaches and their families. 

The club held a small event yesterday for the players and families. Denis Corry, Treasurer, congratulated the players on their selection and reminded them of the rich history Tulla players have in these competitions. He presented each of them with a copy of our book: “Tulla United More than a Club”. The book history details all the Tulla representatives on Kennedy and Gaynor Cup teams over the years, to which these four players names are now been added to. 

Mike Hoey, Chairman, presented a commemorative plaque to each player. Finally, Kevin Perill, Secretary, presented each player with a contribution to their players’ sponsorship funds.

Also in attendance were Fabio Messori, Conor McFadden and Barry Murphy.
