U15 league
TUFC 5:3 Ennis Town
⚽️⚽️⚽️Divine
⚽️Paul
⚽️Gavin
The final game of the U15 season today had us up against a strong Ennis Town side in the Cragg. In an evenly contested 1st half we conceded first then equalised with a well taken strike from Divine.
Ennis Town went 2:1 up, then a super run and finish from Paul levelled the score. Next up the score of the game, Divine finding a little space 30m from goal and spotting the keeper off his line, lobbed him to leave it 3:2 @ HT.
We started the 2nd half well, creating a number of chances. Ten minutes in, Devine dribbled into the area and was taken down. He took the penalty and cooly completed his hattrick. Ennis Town came back strongly and scored to make it 4:3. Ten minutes from time, Gavin cut in from the right and beat the keeper at his near post to complete the scoring.
A fine performance leaves us on 32pts for the season, at least joint top at present. Unfortunately other teams have games in hand so we’ll have to wait and see the outcome but this has been an excellent campaign for the lads.
Well done Colm, Dan, Edeni, Eric, Ryan T, Paddy, Paul, Kieran, Divine, Ryan M, Lucas, Eoghan, Aaron, Gavin, Evan
