Our U15 boys traveled to UL today for the annual Derg FC Christmas Tournament. It was a really fun day, with our Division 1 team playing in the morning and the Division 3 team in the afternoon.
After a tough first game, the Division 1 team found their stride, beating St. Bernard's in the final and being crowned tournament champions after an impressive performance.
In the afternoon, the Division 3 team secured a win and a draw, finishing 3rd on goal difference. Unfortunately, they lost out in the Shield final—bad luck, lads.
Well done to all the players from Tulla, Derg, St. Bernard's, Bridge, and Birdhill. Some great football was played today. A big thanks to Colm and Alan from Derg for organizing the tournament.
