Tulla Utd Senior B Team played today away in Shannon vs Shannon Hibs

In a thought contested first half, Tulla Utd had a few chances with James, Cormac and Kaylum and build some pressure but couldn’t find the goal, Hibs had a few dangerous counterattacks but where well defended by the Tulla backline with Conor O.Brien, Conor McFadden, Tom Vaughan and Donal Sheedy and our GK Sam Cooper who made 2 excellent saves and allowed Tulla to go at the break on 0-0.

In the 2nd half Stephen O'Connor and Darragh Baker came on as subs for Cormac and Kaylum and Tulla start passing the ball better and created a good few chances until Stephen O’Connor managed to push the ball in the back of the net on a good delivered  cross.  A very solid midfield with Conor Walsh and the Captain Craig McNamara start creating more chances for the front line and built some pressure, mainly on the right side where James managed to get away from the defender and put some good crosses in. On the 20th and 25th minute of the 2nd half Darragh Baker scored two very good goals to put Tulla on the 3-0. Hibs scored their first goal on the 48th minute of the 2nd half and shortly after on the 50th minute a penalty was allowed to Hibs who scored it to make it 2-3.

Great solid performance all around, best of luck to Shannon Hibernians for the rest of the season.
