A heroic performance from our B team in the Clare Cup this afternoon in Cragg against Premier Division opponents Inch Crusaders.
A team mostly made up of U21 players, we led for much of the game after Kalium Cahir turned home Cormac Hale’s corner. Inch equalised on 78 minutes, before the game went to extra time & then penalties.
Cormac Hale, Donal Sheedy, Conor Murphy & Sean Walsh were successful from the spot with Sam Cooper, who was outstanding all game, saving a penalty with his legs but Inch scored 5 out of 6 to scrape through.
A brilliant team performance from our lads & testament to the progress being made under Aidan Sheedy & Fabio.
