Our A Team are the first team in the hat for the Clare Cup semi-finals after overcoming a very determined Inch side in Lees road this afternoon.
0-0 at half time after dominating territory & possession, we finally got the breakthrough mid-way through the second half after a lovely interchange of passes between Ayoub, Dan & Eanna put Daragh through on goal & he was taken down for a penalty that Eanna put away confidently.
On 76 minutes we got our second after Eanna was fouled on the left, Jashar delivered a lovely free kick to the near post & Ayoub, arriving like a train, flicked home a brilliant header.
Inch, despite being reduced to 10 men late in the game, kept plugging away & got a goal back on 89 minutes. There were some anxious moments before the full time whistle confirmed our place in the last 4 for the second time in 3 seasons.
