Nenagh AFC 3-4 Tulla Utd Blue
Our run in the National Cup continues. A hard fought win away against a very strong Nenagh AFC in the U13 National Cup 2nd Round.
Tulla started the strongest and dominated the 1st half. The only goal of the 1st half game is 8minutes into the game from Ryan Vaughan, who drilled the ball across the keeper into the corner of the goal. 0-1
Nenagh kicked off the 2nd half with intent to get back into the game however that was delayed when Seànie Hayes won the ball and gave a beautiful through ball to Oritseweyinmi Emiko to finish 1 min into the 2nd half. 0-2.
The strength of Nenagh was on display when they got the game back level 2-2 within the next 9 minutes.
2 minutes later, Tulla took the lead again when our Captain Paudí Morris chipped the ball into the box for Seànie to head in. 2-3
Nenagh didn't let this impact them and got the game to 3-3 6 minutes later.
12 minutes left in the game, and both teams were giving everything they could to get their team into the 3rd Round.
With 4 minutes to go, the winner came when an advantage from a foul was played for Oritseweyinmi Emiko to force the ball home to secure the win.
The extreme hard work and team player strength of Oisín Collins, Ryan Vaughan, and CJ O'Doherty got us the win we needed. 👏
