Facing a wait till late June to start their u15 season, the 2011 boys decided to enter a team in the U16 division 4. The lads were rearing to go afte completing their 10 week pre season stamina training.
The season kicked off with a home fixture vs Shannon Town. Goals from Conor Maloney and Noal Milsted seen Tulla run out 2-1 victors.
A trip to Bunratty came next. A hard fought game in terrible conditions against difficult opponents. Tulla scored late to grab a 3-2 win. Goals by Conor Maloney, Mikey Molloy and Finn Harrington.
Their third game was a trip to Avenue. Always a challenging place to go. Tulla again upped their performance with an outstanding display in defense, and by goalkeeper Mathew Butler-Nash.
While at the other end of the pitch also being clinical in attach. Goals by Evan Power, Mikey Molloy and a hat-trick by Noah Milsted including a stunning free kick saw them win 5 nil.
The teams hard work throughout preseason is has really showed up early in the league. Next Tuesday we welcome Avenue to the Cragg.
A special mention to Noah Milsted who turned down an offer from Treaty United over the winter to stay with his teammates. He has been in superb form chipping in with 4 goals and 3 assists.
