Our 2014 Boys Blue Team travelled to Roslevan to face Avenue  in the Quarter Final of the cup this evening. With our previous 2 league encounters having been very tight affairs this was always going to be a tense affair. The boys started the game strongly, playing some good football and creating chances, but it remained goalless at the break. 
The Second half saw Tulla continue to play their football and got a deserved lead through John, with a lovely finish to a nice team move. Avenue soon hit back with an equaliser and set up a tense final 15 minutes. It didn’t deter the lads and they continued to push for a winner. That winner came with 7 minutes remaining through Michael, who pounced on a rebound after Tulla had a couple of efforts blocked.
All 15 lads put in a monumental effort in warm conditions and got the result their hard work and play deserved. On to the Semi Finals against Bridge United we go!
