🔵⚪ Tulla United 2015 Boys Secure Thrilling National Cup Victory 🔵⚪️

Tulla United 2015 Boys Blue team made the six-hour round trip to Kerry to face Inter Kenmare in the first round of the U12 National Cup, enjoying glorious sunshine and excellent facilities in the Kerry Mountains.

What followed was a thrilling encounter that showcased the character, resilience and team spirit of this young Tulla side, as they fought back from 2–0 down to secure a fantastic 4–3 victory!

Tulla started on the front foot, creating plenty of chances and forcing some excellent saves from the Inter Kenmare goalkeeper. However, they found themselves two goals behind within the opening 20 minutes.

Showing great character and refusing to drop their heads, Tulla pulled one back before half-time. Michael Bon reacted quickest to turn home a saved effort from Aidan Reynolds, sending the teams into the break with the score at 2–1.

Tulla came out strongly in the second half, and the introduction of Lucas Harrison proved decisive, as he calmly finished following a pinpoint pass from Jude O’Dea to bring the score level at 2–2.

Inter Kenmare regained the lead, but Tulla responded brilliantly once again. Jude O’Dea found the net to make it 3–3 before Michael Bon struck his second goal with less than five minutes remaining to complete an incredible comeback.

There were outstanding performances throughout the team. James Quinlivan was superb at centre-half, helping to neutralise the considerable threat posed by Inter's talented striker. Key substitutions, including the introduction of Barra Gallagher and Lucas Harrison, along with a switch in goal to Lee Curtis, helped Tulla finish the game strongly.

The result is a fantastic reward for the players and coaches, who demonstrated tremendous spirit and determination. The road to the National Cup final is a long one, but this team has shown plenty of promise and an exciting journey ahead.
