St. Pats 0 : 8 TUFC

8 goals, 8 different goal scores

Adam, Conor McF, Callum, Darragh B, Glen, Frankie, Kailum & Colin.
This time last week this group of lads were celebrating being crowned Clare Youths Premier League Champions but this evening their attentions were focused on retaining their Clare Youths Cup when they took on a determined St. Pats team.

After a cautious opening 10 minutes, the scoring began when Adam reacted quickest to a free kick from Conor McFadden which hit the cross bar and rebounded to Adam to finish.
Conor had a goal of his own to celebrate shortly after before Callum got in on the act to make it 3:0. Next up was Darragh B, finishing from close range. 4:0 at halftime.

The first goal in the second half was going to be important and that responsibility fell to Glen when he headed home a corner.   Next up on the score sheet was the ever-busy Frankie before his replacement Kailum made it 7. Last up and probably the biggest cheer of the evening was our Duffers, Colin Duff, who finished coolly past the Pats keeper.

Best of Luck to St Pats with the rest of their season. Before the game, a minute's silence was respectfully held for Tulla Utd friend and St.Pats club stalwart, Pat “Dingle” Daly whose first anniversary is held around this time, RIP Pat.

A minute's silence for Tulla Utd friend and St.Pats club stalwart Pat"Dingle' Daly.

Finally, a shout out to Ronan who continues to recover from a concussion which he received in last week's league playoff final and Jamie who has missed the full season following a serious injury.

Youth Cup Finalists 2025

Next up for our own youths team and management is a well-deserved 5-day break in Italy. Well done lads

Six happy Mums watching their team against St. Pat's this evening.
